My name is Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves, born March 22, 1989 in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. I'm an undergraduate student of M.Sc. Computer and Telematics Engineering at University of Aveiro. My interests are on FOSS and computer networking areas mainly.

I have been involved in a several FOSS projects over the years — some have ended, others just started. For instance, I'm a openSUSE Member since the beginning of its existence contributing mostly on packaging, translations to Portuguese, and bug reporting; also involved in Smolt with the GUI interface, minor bug fixing, and KSmolt (KDE notifier to easily send users' profile to Smolt servers). Recently I started contributing to the PySide project with Qt bindings and packaging for the most worldwide used RPM Linux distributions — openSUSE, Fedora, and Mandriva.

I'm an associate member of GLUA (Grupo Linux da Universidade de Aveiro) since 2007, and of ODN (Oeste Digital Network) since 2006.
